it ponders me: facebook
I’ve been wanting to write about this “phenomenon” for some time now. I opened up a Facebook account over a year ago but I never did much with it. I think the only reason why I joined it was because someone invited me to try it out and I was at work and really bored or something.
So for a while, I was limited to roughly 6 or so friends. Between that time and now, that number has “swelled” to 50-some odd people. Some of my friends include people that I’ve known for a long time, some people that I haven’t heard from in over ten years and so on.
And then there are those that just add people for the sake of adding them. These are the people that ponder me. I have a few people that have added me after not hearing from them in forever. In my excitement, I have written back but then have received no response at all. It’s not like I sent out the friend request; they did, which leaves me to wonder, if you’re not going to engage any form of contact WHY THE HELL DID YOU ADD ME IN THE FIRST PLACE? I think people just add people in those situations because they want to look like the have a lot of friends and that they’re popular. I think I’m going to start deleting some of these people soon.
My other Facebook peeve involve people that constantly update what they’re doing several times a day via phone:
“So and so is bored right now”
“So and so is contemplating getting drunk tonight.”
“So and so is sitting on the toilet right now”.
I have a news flash for these people: NO ONE CARES. Talk about the age of narcissism. I guess people also update their mess constantly that someone will find what they’re doing so utterly fascinating that they will immediately contact them.It just makes me roll my eyes in disgust.
Rant over.

To be honest with you the only reason I’m on facebook is to play scrabble. Problem is their new Beta version sucks!
Bluez you play Scrabble? That’s pretty cool. This is something that they have on Facebook?
